I just got home from Fanime last night, and was so sad it was over!  I had a blast, and there were so many amazing cosplayers there~! I didn't get there until friday, but then it was right into photoshoots and funtiemz!

Friday:
Costume: South Korea from Hetalia

Got to the convention at around eleven and after getting into the hotel, immediately went out to do some photoshoots.  I was honored to be able to take pictures of great cosplayers like   and .  They were all so amazing in their sailor moon dresses/tuxedos!  My photography hardly did them any justice D: after the photoshoot, we went back to the hotel and then hit the swap meet where I rediscovered my love of haggling, then we went back to our hotel where I snuggled with Elrowiel all night on the little full sized bed xD

Saturday:
Costume:  Casual Alto Saotome from Macross Frontier

Woke up and went to masquerade judging to register myself as a stage ninja for "The French Revolution through Anime" and then started the photoshoots all over again.  This time I went with as Derr Todd from Takarazuka Elisabeth, and as Katerina from Trinity Blood.  Moar fun photoshoot tiemz.  There were some amazing photo locations at Fanime!  I'm definitely looking forward to it next year~ After that we went to the trinity blood meet up, where I took pictures of a whole slew of amazing trinity blood cosplayers, including Kimu who just was sooo fun to play with~  Then I was taking pictures of in her Ranka Lee costume and in her Sheryl costume for a little bit.  Later that night Elrowiel and I went to the arcade and played Para Para Paradise.  It was awesome fun~

Sunday:
Costume: Guild Sweetheart from Monster Hunter Tri

Sunday was basically eaten by the Masquerade.  We got our Queen Marie Antoinette and Lady Oscar ready by about 12:30 and made rehearsal by 1:00, then got out of rehearsal by about three, then at mcdonalds.  I watched an old Japanese lady almost get in a car accident because she got so excited about the giant Rose of Versailles costumes.  We ate and then went back to our hotel for about an hour to get ready for the masquerade, and then masquerade from Five to Eleven.  The skit was awesome it is online here: [link] that we took metaphorical shots for every dance skit that we saw.  There were a lot.  We were very metaphorically drunk. Then we went back to the hotel and sleeeeeept.

Monday:  
Costume: N/A

After waking up later than usual, I dressed very casually and headed out to get what i could out of the Dealers hall, bought Manga, Monster Hunter action figures, and CD's.  I was pleased to see the latest FAKE? Album there and snapped it up, even though I probably shouldn't have.  Then I went to the artist Alley and found the most Amazing Pipe Cleaner Megaman that I immediately bought for my older brother.  Then out to the court yard of the convention center to find some cosplayers for last minute photoshooting.  I took pictures of an awesome Draco and Snape, A few shots of Elrowiel being an awesome Ranka Fujioka from Host Club, Tenshi as an adorable Lolita and her amazing ball jointed doll, Louis.  An amazing shoot with as Samurai Edward Elric, finished up my last shoot, and then we were on the road for home.



Fanime was definitely an awesome con.  I would DEFINITELY love to go back to it next year~ I made awesome friends, and took so many photos.  Thank you to everyone who worked with me~  I can't wait until next year
